NSMA offers high-quality musical performances at comfortable, accessible venues where listeners are immersed in the experience without distractions. Our audience members tell us the connection they feel with artists onstage is both sensory and emotional – a joining of hearts and minds in joy, shared experience, and uplift that great music by generous souls can offer.

Dockside Sessions

Event Description

Dockside Sessions is a free outdoor concert series on the Grand Marais harbor, gathering our community on Wednesday evenings throughout August. Come enjoy beautiful summer nights of live music on the North House Folk School’s outdoor commons—where the lake, the sky, and the sounds all come together. Bring a chair, bring a friend, and settle in.
